Happy Winter Solstice season! This can be both a wonderful and difficult time of the year for people. The days are long and dark and it’s easy to forget that the sun is there just beyond the clouds, snow, and rain. This season I’m taking time to reflect on the year and prepping for the Winter Solstice, a time of renewal and rejuvination when the light starts to return.
I’m continuing to work on artwork (always) and this has manifested in me making a wreath and a star out of foliage, working on commissions, and working on a project in collaboration with a local author (more to come on that next year). I’ve also managed to squeeze some personal artwork in and I’m super happy with how my skills are getting better all the time.
